Using the TinyStic with your iPhone or iPad allows you to watch anything and everything from your mobile device to your HDTV screen. You can share pictures that are saved or taken using your smartphone, play games directly on your TV from your smart device, watch videos, and browse the Internet on your TV.
Follow the instructions below to pair your iOS device with the TinyStic.
Minimum System Requirements
- TV with HDMI port and USB power available (5 V 500 mA)
- Android Device with Miracast, Allshare Cast, Screen Mirroring or Android™ Wireless Display support or iPhone 5s or higher
Setting up the TinyStic
Turn your TV ON.
Connect the TinyStic to your TV's USB port using the USB power cable that came with the device. Be sure to secure the cables all the way in.
Connect the video adapter directly to an HDMI port on the TV. You will see a blue light on the TinyStic when plugged all the way in.
NOTE: Take note of the port number you connected to. It is recommended to use HDMI 1 for optimal performance.
Set your TV's input selector to the HDMI port you connected to.
Your TinyStic will now start up and display “DLNA (iOS compatible)” on the center your TV screen. If you don’t see “DLNA (iOS compatible)” in the center of the screen, then quickly press and release the button on the side of the TinyStic.
Connecting your iOS device
To pair your iOS device with the TinyStic, follow the instructions below.
On your iOS device, go to Settings/ Wi-fi/ and connect to TINYSTIC-XXXXX. Enter password 12345678
Start a web browser such as Safari and type the following web address in the location bar: 192.168.49.1 This is the field on the top of the screen where you would enter a web address.
Touch the Wifi icon. Click Scan. Click your wifi network. Click Connect. May be really small at the bottom of screen. Close the browser.
Open AirpPlay menu by sliding the bottom of your screen up. Click AirPlay. Click TINYSTIC-XXXXX. Slide Mirroring button to the right.
